HISTORIC! 3 DAY INTRODUCTION TO CRICKET AT IPAKODO GRAMMAR SCHOOL, LAGOS, NIGERIA APRIL 19-21ST 2022 VIDEO TRAILER
On April 19 – 21st 2022 Ipakodo Grammar School pupils took part in a first ever 3 day cricket program lead by Lagos state cricket coach Ingram Jones whose vision is to see all schools in Ikorodu play cricket with cricket coaches.
In the lead up to program, pupils has already been training for 3 weeks in school. Ipakodo Grammar school based in Ikorodu, Lagos, students also visited the home of cricket at TBS oval to watch Nigeria Women beat Rwanda in a close match and met with the Nigerian Federation Cricket President which further brought excitement and passion to playing the game of cricket
The aim of this first program was to engage students at both primary and secondary students of ipakodo to learn how the fundementals of how to play cricket and also to develop them into future cricket coaches.
Many thanks to Lagos State Cricket Association & Nigeria Cricket Federation for making this program a success.
